iPad Apps

Corkulous Pro
This is my favorite app of late, as I'm a very visual planner and learner and this app plays to that.  I used to plan on a big white board where I could write ideas and make connections.  This app allows you to do very visual planning on your iPad and could also be used as a presentation tool.  $4.99

Dropbox
This allows you to use dropbox from your laptop to your ipad.

Educreations
This app is a recordable white board that could be used to record demonstrations of math problems or visualize vocabulary.  The only problem is that there's no eraser,so you either erase the entire screen or deal with what you've already written. Thankfully the company has confirmed that an updated version with an eraser will be coming soon. (Seriously- no eraser?)

Flashcard Machine
This app allows you to create and view flash cards created on this Web2.0 tool.

gFlash+
This app is similar to Flashcard Machine, but gFlash+ allows you to import a google spreadsheet that will create your flashcards.

iMotion HD
This app makes creating stop motion animation and common craft videos much easier. All you'll need is some  kind of holder for your iPad/iPhone to keep it steady.  You can also add another device and use one as a remote for the video and other as the camera.

InClass
This app is a student organization application that allows students to take notes inthe app, record lectures, take pictures of illustrations or handouts, etc.

Keynote
This app is pretty impresive presentation creation software for the iPad. The program has great transitions, picture and media importing, and a great selection  of fonts. $9.99

Maps.com US History Atlas
The app includes current and historical maps for the US.

Noteshelf
This app allows users to create notebooks of notes/plans that can be handwritten or typed in.

This allows you to write on the iPad for note taking and sketching.

Prezi Viewer
This app allows prezi creations to be viewable on the iPad

Spreaker
This a great free broadcasting app.  It has minimal features but is so easy to use, it's great for busy teachers who want to create class podcasts or for students down to middle school level. A username, email and password is required.

Teacher Pal
This is an organizational tool for teachers that allows you to track students, behavior, and grades.

Voicethread
